Welcome to Hillmans Transport company induction. In this lesson we will introduce to the company, how we operate, where we operate. In this lesson we will cover subjects such as workers compensation, various legislative compliance requirements, company policies, your rights and responsibilities as an employee and what you can expect of Hillmans Transport to support you in your journey with us.
During this Lesson, we will be revising you with Hillmans Transport Speed Management Policy as it applies to you and your responsibility in complying with the policy. The reason for this is to ensure that all employees are fully aware with the Speed Management Policy and what is expected of you when in control of one of our vehicles. At the end of this session you will have been provided with the information to enable you to fully comply with Hillmans Transport Speed Management Policy. In line with this, is the requirement to maintain a driver’s log-book in accordance with the legislated BFM or AFM guidelines. At the end of this Lesson, you will be required to complete and pass an assessment with a score of 100%.
During this Lesson, you will be introduced to Hillmans Transport Advanced Fatigue Management Strategy. At the end of this session you will have an understanding and level of knowledge required to operate safely and effectively under our Advanced Fatigue Management (AFM) Guidelines. The reason you are undertaking this training is so that you will have the knowledge to compliment your existing skills to effectively and safely employ the AFM strategy in your work for Hillmans Transport. At the end of this Lesson, you will be required to complete and pass an assessment with a score of 100%.
